Ms. Cavner supports many community groups. In Springfield, she sits on the board of the non-profit organization Kitchen, which offers shelter, food, and medical care to the underprivileged. Governor Jay Nixon selected her to sit on a panel of seven for the Missouri Health and Education Facilities Authority in St. Louis, Missouri.
Outside of her immediate community, Nadia Cavner also works with various national organizations. In addition to earning acknowledgment as Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, she sat on the executive board of trustees at Texas Christian University’s Brite Divinity School.
