All proceeds will go toward services benefiting local people from disadvantaged backgrounds or those experiencing homelessness. The Kitchen is also asking sponsors and participants the Bowl-A-Thon to donate canned and non-perishable food. The Knights of Columbus will handle planning for the event and cover operating costs.
The Bowl-A-Thon will take place at three bowling lanes: Century Lanes in Nixa and Springfield’s Enterprise Park Lanes and Sunshine Lanes. Collection barrels will be available at all locations for food donations.
