Bowl-A-Thon to Raise Funds for The Kitchen in Missouri

A former financial advisor with more than 20 years of experience, Nadia Cavner is a committed philanthropist based in Missouri who has a history of contributing to charitable causes. Nadia Cavner has supported The Kitchen, a nonprofit organization that helps individuals, families, youth, and veterans in need.

The Kitchen participates in a variety of annual events designed to raise funds for its programs and services in Southwest Missouri. Upcoming activities include the 24th annual Knights Striking Out Bowl-A-Thon on January 20, 2019. Participants will enjoy an afternoon of bowling and join fellow supporters of The Kitchen in reaching a fundraising goal of $60,000. All proceeds will go toward services benefiting local people from disadvantaged backgrounds or those experiencing homelessness. The Kitchen is also asking sponsors and participants the Bowl-A-Thon to donate canned and non-perishable food. The Knights of Columbus will handle planning for the event and cover operating costs.
The Bowl-A-Thon will take place at three bowling lanes: Century Lanes in Nixa and Springfield’s Enterprise Park Lanes and Sunshine Lanes. Collection barrels will be available at all locations for food donations.
